Brave Little Arna Is Lucky To Have Survived A Car Crash..

Although Arna had a badly injured leg, she is lucky to have survived a fatal car crash in which her owner was killed. This little girl had been saved from another rescue group on the coast and was on her way around Australia with her caring owner. Unfortunately, her trip ended on the Cloncurry Road and she was brought to Mount Isa to be looked after by Mount Isa Veterinary Surgery. She spent her first few weeks there while her injury was being treated but is now in the care of PHC. (Thanks John!)
During her treatment at the vet, Arna made friends with Nugget, (the resident vet dog) and the two played happily together for hours every day. Arna very quickly became a favourite for all the staff working at the vet.

Arna has been such a brave little girl throughout all this and is a now displaying a happy personality and is becoming very lively now that she is well on the way to recovery. She loves to play with other dogs and is engaging with people a lot more since she has left her shock behind her. We think that Arna will always be a small medium sized girl with possibly some Kelpie in her breeding.
