Porter!! Was It A Case of Pack Your Port And Go....

Little Porter arrived at the pound over a week ago in a frightful condition after being found wandering homeless. He was literally a skeleton covered in ticks and fleas.. After treatment from pound personnel, Porter is parasite free and has gained weight although he still has a way to go before he fits into his skin....
Porter has one of those beguiling faces which entreat you to love him, to cuddle him, to look after him... However, he won't stay little for long as he has feet like paddles and bones which are currently too big for his frail body.

He shared my car with two Maltese rescues and was so happy to have some little friends and probably annoyed them with his exuberance... We waited in the car for a couple of hours as there was a huge queue at the vet but they all enjoyed the air conditioning after the heat of the pound...

Porter is only about 9 weeks old so it is hard to believe how tough his life has already been but hopefully he now has a bright future.
